How to get started

  1. Determine the course topic and goals: Before you start creating your course in Notion, it's important to determine what you want to teach and what goals you want your students to achieve by the end of the course. This will help you structure your course content in a way that makes sense and is easy to follow.
  1. Create a Notion account: If you haven't already, create a Notion account. Notion offers a free plan with basic features that may be enough for creating a course. You can also upgrade to a paid plan for more advanced features.
  1. Getting access to the workspace: If you already do not have access to the Notion Teamspace, just ping any of the executives in <#1008138441399222344> to help get you started with a Notion Page.
  1. Create a course outline: Before you start adding content to your page, create a course outline on the main homepage. This will help you organize your content in a way that makes sense and is easy to follow for your students. Your course outline should include the course title, a brief description of the course, and a list of the topics or modules you plan to cover.
  1. Create pages for each module or topic: Once you have your course outline, create a subpage for each module or topic. You can create a new page by clicking on the "New Page" button in the top left corner of your workspace. Give each page a descriptive title that reflects the module or topic it covers.
  1. Add content to each page: Once you have created a page for each module or topic, start adding content to each page. You can add text, images, videos, and other multimedia elements to your pages using Notion's drag-and-drop interface.
  1. Publish your course: Once you have added all of your content, it's time to publish your course. You can do this by pinging one of the Executives in <#1008138441399222344> and letting us know that your entire course is complete and is ready to be added to the website database.
  1. Volunteer Hours: After your course is complete, you can submit your Volunteer Hours in the Google Form in <#997642234948243456>
